We have experience writing strength, fitness and mobility based programs. Once we have developed your program based on you initial screening we take you through your training sessions. This will ensure you are using the correct technique plus motivate you to stay consistent with your training.

We believe that holistic approach to improving your health is crucial. We will work collaboratively with your team of health professionals. A big part of what we do involves talking to GP’s, physiotherapists and psychologists amongst others in order to create a plan that is comprehensive and tailored specifically to your unique health needs. By fostering collaboration with your team of health professionals, including GP’s, physiotherapists, psychologists, and others, we aim to integrate diverse expertise. This ensures that the plan we create is not only evidence-based but also considers the broader aspects of your wellbeing.

What's The Difference Between an Exercise Physiologist and a Physiotherapist… Who Should I See?

This is a common question amongst the public, and the answer is a little nuanced as there are some aspects of the scope of practice which are shared by both professions. Both Exercise Physiologists and Physiotherapists are tertiary qualified professions, having completed a minimum of 4 years of study at University, however the methods each profession use differ quite a bit.

An Exercise Physiologist uses exercise as their primary method of treatment, for a wide range of chronic conditions, injuries and illnesses. Their goal is to improve a person’s health and wellness through prescribing specific exercises, for a person’s needs and goals. A Physiotherapist will diagnose, treat and manage acute injuries, disabilities and pain, through a range of manual therapy, education and early-stage exercises. It is common for referral pathways to exist between professions, to ensure the needs of the patient are best met.

We address this question in further detail in our blog post.
