Elevate Exercise Physiology & Performance operates from several locations across the Sunshine Coast. We provide Exercise Physiology services to help people with injury rehabilitation, chronic disease management, pre & post surgery rehabilitation, lifestyle modification, strength & conditioning and general health and fitness.
Our mission is to provide service of the highest quality to ensure you achieve your health and fitness goals; no matter how ambitious they may be! We understand that the health and fitness industry may be confusing, we are here to help create a clearer picture for you, and cut through the BS, providing evidence-based information and programs that will deliver results.
Our director, Kirk, has over a decade of experience working in the health and fitness industry, where he has a reputation for creating a supportive and friendly environment where you will feel empowered to achieve your results. As an Accredited Exercise Physiologist, Kirk is a huge advocate for the use of Exercise as Medicine and truly believes the benefits of a strong exercise regime are hugely undervalued. He is here to help you find the best type of exercise for you and your needs so that you can live a long and fruitful life!

Meet the Team
Kirk Millson
Director & Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP, AES, ESSAM)
Kirk is an extremely experienced practitioner, with over 10 years’ experience working in a variety of coaching positions. Originally from Sydney, he relocated up to the Sunshine Coast in 2018, with his partner, Krystal to pursue studying a Masters’ degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology which he graduated from in 2022.
Kirk is committed to driving the message that exercise is the strongest form of medicine, and derives immense satisfaction from helping people from all backgrounds improve their quality of life through tailored exercise interventions.
He is passionate about debunking the confusion that exists within the health and fitness industry, and is constantly looking for ways to improve his knowledge so that he can only help his patients even more.
Outside of work, you’ll find him out in the surf, patrolling the beach as a volunteer lifesaver, traveling the world or playing way too much pickleball.

Funding for Exercise Physiology Services
At Elevate Exercise Physiology & Performance, we are recognised as healthcare providers across several referral networks. You can claim some, or all of your visit through the following schemes.
Medicare
- Under a Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plan you are entitled to 5 rebated visits per calender year with a GP referral
- Type 2 Diabetes classes – eligible participants can claim 1 assessment and 8 group classes per year

Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA)
- We are able to provide clinically necessary treatment for all DVA Gold & White card holders under a referral from your GP. Each referral lasts for 12 visits or 12 months, whichever occurs first.

- We are proud to support all self-managed and plan-managed participants to achieve independence and improve their health, well-being and quality of life through exercise treatment.

- We are proud to support injured workers in their return to work rehabilitation process. We would need your case manager and claim number to begin the process and commence treatment.

Private Health
- We can offer private health rebates depending on your level of cover with your health fund. You will need to check this prior to treatment or our full fee applies.
